Well I've rebuilt my flippers but now I'm a lil confused. I'm repopulating at the mo and I've come to putting the flipper bats back on. Is the rest position plunger in or out?

Ahhh - the fine art of flipper rebuilding.

Out.

Slightly tighten the pawl on the bat shaft just enough so it holds but you can still swivel bat/move up and down.

Get bat aligned in correct rest position.

Make sure you allow about 1/8" up/down play.

Bat in rest position. Plunger out at rest position.

Tighten it up. Really tighten it up. Not so much that the jaws are touching ..... but tight. Otherwise within a few flips the bugger will be loose and you will have to do it all again.

My prob is with the plunger out the lil arm on the pawl isn't touching the EOS shouldn't it be closed when out and open when in?

I believe it's the difference between fliptronics and non-fliptronics pins.

Page 2-17 in the shadow manual for confirmation.
