Flipper noise

Hi all,

Does anyone have a simple solution of reducing the noise of the flipper snapping sound? Recently got a CGC Cactus Canyon Remake and it’s made me realise how loud the JJP Avatar flippers are… I was wondering if there is a simple solution to this that I’m unaware of?

Kong has the loudest flippers I've ever played. It's quite annoying. Luckily it's an awesome machines.

Blimey, I thought avatar was loud so without playing king I wouldn’t know.. what’s making them so loud?

Sometimes i’m okay with the noise but i have quite sensitive hearing so sometimes the flipper snap goes right through my head. Apart from earplugs or headphones I was wondering if there is some way of dampening the sound… but not quite sure how, I imagine the snapping sound is metal on metal
