I have 1 or 2 new machines incoming soon so I am selling my Flintstones that I bought off a forum member. It plays perfectly and is a fun machine - more loaded than many modern machines with a Bronto Crane, Cement Mixer, jumping Dicta-Bird, the confusing front apron loop and a mini bowling alley! It has 3 flippers, 2 multiballs (1 is a mode), 4 main 1-2-3 modes, 3 side modes and a "wizard" mode.
Collection is from Devon, buyers are welcome to come and test it out in person of course. Martin and Matt have both been here so I'm happy for them to collect too. Please see photos below, but here is a summary:
GOOD
* Plays 100% perfectly
* Playfield is excellent - I can't see any wear on the playfield anywhere
* All plastics are excellent, none broken or cracked
* Fully LEDd including flashers
* Original translite
* Full service just over a year ago including rebuilt pops + flippers with new coils, all new rubbers, new CPU
* Batteries off board
* DMD excellent, no lines out
* Matching inlane plastics (covering the horrible metal inlane feeds to flippers)
* Cement mixer mod (+ unused mixer sticker)
* Bronto Crane lightup mod
* Building lightup mods x 2
* Mod stickers on standup targets and drops (+ spares)
* Cab and coin door are pretty decent, some small marks but nothing bad - eg. see above left flipper
* Nice legs for age
SUB-OPTIMAL
* The lock down bar doesn't seem like a 100% correct fit, a few mm too wide if that's possible? But it looks OK and locks down fine!
* The LH backbox side decal is not great, it looks like it's had taped pulled off (backbox decals can be bought separately as a pair)
* Legs/levellers have a few marks and small rust spots, but I think they are very good - I haven't tried cleaning them up any more
* The RH Multiball playfield insert light sometimes doesn't light... seems to be a connection issue with the lamp holder in the board, I wiped it clean but haven't done anything more as the problem is intermittent
* A couple of light scratches on the glass and the side rails (no dents that I can see, they were new last year)
* One of the front leg bolts was a bit loose in the cab bracket so I've used a nut inside to secure it tight
* No coin mech or tray
* No tilt bob weight
* It appears the bowling mech only has 3 pins instead of 5 (and no decals) which I hadn’t realised… I understand these are just cosmetic in front of the standup targets so the strikes/spares still work fully in gameplay.
I see the last Flintstones sold at £2750 recently - I think this one is nicer with mods so I'm looking for £2850. If you want any more photos or have any questions, please ask - I can also send a video by WhatsApp for anyone who isn't close enough to come and view.
