Fish Tales Wire Gate Fitting

Hi All,

New to this pinball ownership lark so please bear with me.

I’ve bought a fish tales and Bob from pinball toys very kindly bent me up a wire gate for caster club which was missing from the machine.

the solenoid in the multiball started to fall apart so whilst repairing I thought I’d take the opportunity to fit it.

however, I can’t see where it should go. I can see only one set of holes where they’re each side of the channel, but when I fit it there it either doesn’t bend back or doesn’t drop.

could someone help me with where to fit it?
