I have just got a Fish Tales and it has an intermittent sound problem. The sound changes in volume/cuts out, then comes back again. Link to a video below showing what I mean. I got it from a forum member who did mention he had had some issues with the machine resetting when both flipper buttons were pressed and other odd symptoms (fixed by re-seating a ribbon cable). I wonder whether this is a similar issue, but have tried re-seating the ribbon cable again, and have not managed to correct the sound problem. Any ideas.

Edit: Well, since posting this the problem has stopped - it's working perfectly now. I would still be interested in thoughts about cause of the problem in case it re-occurs. If people suspect the ribbon cable, whether there is value in replacing it (tbh, I won't touch it now unless the problem happens again, but interested in people's thoughts on this anyway).

This happened to my WH20, turned out to be one of the connections onto the bass speaker being loose, the vibration from the solenoids was causing the sound to cut in and out and change volume intermittently.
