Evening all.
Always find it frustrating if I hit a ball too hard into the casters club and it comes straight back out. Always seems to happen when I least want it too. Happened this afternoon so I spat my dummy and decided to have the glass off for a look inside casters club. Just discovered there should be a ball gate present, mine is missing, which prevents the ball from escaping.
Can’t seem to see any replaceMents available or ever being for sale so thought maybe I could make one? Or even use an alternative?
Anyone got detailed photos and measurements ? Or pretty please able to measure theirs so I can have a crack at reproducing one?

If anyone knows anyone that may have one I will forever be in your debt.
Many thanks Ty.

Mine does not have a ball gate. I never get bounce outs

No gate on mine either and no pop outs. Sure nothing loose or bent underneath the hut? Wrong flipper coils?

I had the hut apart the other day when I discovered mine wasn’t there as I read it could have just been stuck in the up position but couldn’t see anything that looked out of place. Will check flipper coils this evening after work.
This pic shows the wire gate that should be there.

Hmmm, I stand corrected, I actually do have the gate - it is two way though so would let the ball out again (which makes sense as it is too far from the saucer to make sure it’d stay in there). Maybe just slowing the ball down.

Yours is broken then buddy it should only move one way. Seems it’s common for them to break. The top one in this pic is what should be there, although a little beat up, the bottom one shows what part normally breaks off allowing the one way gate to become a two way.

OK, have taken it apart - is the gate tilted inwards at rest normally? If it is perpendicular there is enough room behind it for the ball to stay there, which would cause a lock.

This is what mine looks like, same orientation as in the game. Something is broken off on the right. I also have a screw in the metal ball guide on the right limiting opening angle.4F0BA86B-E6D2-46D2-8927-0CA1CB6BBF04.jpeg

I bought the wire bending jig and different gauge wires from marco. Pretty handy to have. Worth bolting on to an order if you’re doing a marco one as they’re only cheap
