Hello,

Up for sale is my nice redecalled Fish Tales. I bought this back in September from a member on here. I have loved it, but I am a machine over in my room and have to sell.

Good:
- Fully working and flows lovely
- Reel ball lock fully working
- LEDs
- Fully working topper and intact dome
- Redecalled cabinet (some very small wrinkling around one of the legs and under the shooter plate)
- Nice condition playfield (some overlays at the lower playfield, but a nice job)
- Titian rubber kit included (not fitted)
- Brand new boat mini playfield included (not fitted)
- Rocket CPU board (so no batteries)
- New line filter fitted last month
- Painted legs and black powdercoated armour
- DMD bright and perfect (no missing lines or dots)

The not so good:
- Wear on the boat mini playfield (new replacement included)
- A few overlays on the playfield (good job putting them on though)
- One broken sling plastic (chipped at the end, still intact).
- Glass has a couple of small scratches, nothing major though and didn’t bother me.

A lovely looking machine and one I will miss, as it’s my first Williams. But the room is overcrowded.

I am just outside Wickford, Essex. More than welcome to come and play / look it over, in fact, that is encouraged. Happy to do a video call etc. Martin has been here many times. I can help pack up and load if collecting and it’s an easy trip from the Games Room to the drive.

I paid £4k last year with the mini playfield, looking for £3,850.

Given the space issue, not really looking for trades, unless you have a mint Stern DMD and then I might shift Stranger Things too, but straight sale is preferred.

Cheers

John

Hoooww big was it?

My only advice remove those plastic 'leg protectors', they cause wrinkles! They need to be banned.

GLWTS

For sure, agreed.

But on their own they are the devil.

Also this is a new decal job so shouldn't be any wear and tear to hide up!
There is a way to use them and not wrinkle the decals, it's about when you tighten the bolts (i.e. do it after the machine is on all 4 legs, don't tighten the front leg bolts when on it's back).
No bother if you do this, but too late if somebody has already missed it.

Price reduced by £100 to £3,850.

I have also found the following parts to go with the sale:

- Original Manual
- New Flipper rebuild kit
- Boat Ramp decal to go with the new mini playfield
- New Black Flipper buttons

Two questions:
- Do you have a few images of the overlays?
- Is the original CPU still there (even if damaged)?
Thanks,
FLorian

See below, basically it looks like the tackle box, the fish and the multipliers. I bought this like it, but the person who did apply them has done a good job, as I had a hard job telling.

Again, I bought it with the Rocket CPU (not to be confused with Rocketdog boards), so no the original CPU is not there. From what I read, these board are excellent.

Any other questions or if you want a video to view, drop me a message and I can WhatsApp you.

Just as a heads up, I am talking to someone else too.

Cheers!
