Finally, Pulp Fiction

Played moose’s one at the weekend, and thought a great game, love the retro aspect, one gripe the right hand shot to start a mode is well hard( and I’m not talking Eastender dogs )

Awesome game and loving mine  Only issue I've had is my magnet fuse blowing but other than that it's been perfect.
I noticed the magnet can be quite aggressive holding, shaking and throwing the ball at times. Did you adjust any settings to prevent it blowing again?

Tbh I haven't hd chance to look at it yet so it's currently not working  Not sure if there are any settings re: the magnet?

Pff...
- Price... how much? With shipping will be 3 PlayStations 5s or two Samsung washing machines 😂
- Double tap - why? Unless I'm mistaken don't remember a double tap kill in the movie. That noise is more of an annoyance
- LA? I'm getting a Miami vibe
- Katana, looks out of place next to the two main characters - small scene with Butch. Kill Bill.....
- Don't get the pinball wire form thingy

Think someone will make something better

Anyone know what balls CGC shipped PF with?

They seem more shiny than other magenet friendly balls and are holding up well, would like to pick up some more.

Everything looks out of place. Definitely a Kill Bill vibe.

Finally got round to firing this beauty up today. Seems spot on straight out of the box and it’s had its head removed , playfield and plastic protectors fitted so I had plenty of opportunities to mess something up

Flipper strength , pop bumper sensitivity , sling sensitivity , magnet catch , no air balls . Definitely my best experience with a new CGC . Remembering by AFM felt like it was on a mission to destroy itself with every ball

Played about 30 games today. Talk about having that just one more game draw

What a great pin

Frenzy is my favourite mode, got there early on through pure chance, then took weeks to get to it again.

Would love to be able to progress further to hear more of the call outs, great dialogue between the characters makes you feel like your part of the diner scene

This might not be the most complex game ever , and I guess it's unlikely it's the best game ever , but it has to be the coolest pinball ever surely ?

Anybody has any trough / opto issues ? Won’t even launch a ball to the shooter lane now. I had noticed it becoming more intermittent in play where it seemed to have a short delay / dodgy staging before it gave up completely

Having had a couple of STTNG in the past it feels familiar territory 😁.

TBH I’ve not had chance to conduct aty fault finding yet and will be unlikely to get round to it this week. Just thought I’d ask fellow owners in the mean time

So just for info the plunger in the coil was stuck fast . It had a kind of dry residue on it probably some sort of grease with it being brand new.

Just twisted it and it broke free but worth noting as must have been close to blowing a fuse

I Unboxed my PF yesterday, the right flipper button was stuck in. It did free up but during play it sticks in after a few flips and the flipper sticks up. Not great from new.

I also found I couldn’t get the sound right, I don’t want the call outs so loud but I want the music up, I found that it was either super loud or very faint. Anyone got any suggestions for good sound levels?
Other than that, it’s a beautiful machine, the light show and the use of the displays is amazing.

Has there been a better case for a mirror blade ever ?

Don’t know if silverpaolo has any left but these are a must

I found the same, could do with the call outs being a little quieter, but haven't found an ideal setting.

These are often quoted on Pinside, but I didn't think they were that great.

'Cabinet speaker is 24, other speakers are 32, game volume 9, min volume 5. Attract volume 10'.

I have managed to get more PF LE! So anyone who missed out originally can get one...

I had to pay more to get these extra so the price for the group is £10k (was originally 9695)

Dudes a bit annoying with the criticism of it being an alpha numeric game, want a screen, great, buy one of the dozens of recent games with one.

Still the end product doesn't look too hideous, I quite like the cartoon animations of Vince and Jules. would be better retaining the OG game and having the screen as a topper tho.
