Today’s update is sponsored by green frog tape..
Trying to do at least an hour a day to keep this bloody thing moving along, even if it’s just polishing some pointless random part or repairing some pikey wiring hack by the previous operator.
The big plot twist for this project is I’m now putting in a brand new playfield set... it was always going to be the one thing that would bother me had I not done it. My plan is to test the cab with the old playfield, that I rebuilt at the start, to ensure all the wiring and everything is ok before I transplant it over to the new one. That’s the theory and hopefully it will catch any major issues

Finished the braiding and got everything mostly refit back in the main cabinet.

Washed and scrubbed the 2 main cabinet looms.

Replaced 2 lamp holders and fitted the topper lamp PCBs. Driver PCB had a 5v reset issue so I fitted new caps, bridges and transistor.

Repaired some hack to the transformer wiring and cleaned/painted it.

That’s it for today’s update
