Do you have two big bolts? They go into the holes inside the backbox at the bottom to keep the backbox on.
At least two bolts, with washers. Back then, there were four bolts used. Also make sure the earth braid from the cabinet is connected in the back box.
Fg was at the crossover at Bally where some have hinges and others don't. Two bolts opposite corners is good enough but 4 makes it super solid
Remove the backglass then open the door. The boltholes are inside. If the head is removed, make sure to fish out the ground braid from the cabinet and reattach.
The bolts are super long, unlike on later games where a standard leg bolt would get the job done, they need to be the specific long ones

Be really careful with the hinge too, mine can slide about with a slight nudge with the back box down
if the hinges are installed correctly it shouldn’t come off.
