Ahh you see . . .you did sort of imply something there though right?

For the record Paddy, I didn't know my membership had elapsed. I have donated plenty of times to this fine forum, but don't tend to use it as much as I used to so hadn't noticed.

But cheers for the condescending and aloof message implying that I might be a tight **** 🤣

Hopefully I can buy you a pint at Pinfest too but judging by your tone you'll probably expect me to steal your wallet whilst we're queuing at the bar.

Come to think of it... You're a big reason why I'm so deep in the pinball hobby Gonzo, your content definitely pushed me down this path.

You've practically stolen money directly from my bank account and my wife would like a word.

Enjoy your pinball machine, couldn't think of anyone who'd look after it better, and look forward to the content on it if you decide to do some down the line 👍

Thanks mate, please apologise to Mrs Devil-Mish from me ;)

I'll definitely do a video on it, to be honest I'm looking forward to playing it. It's a game that has escaped me a few times and I very nearly got the new Haggis version at one point but got Theatre instead.

Paul was brilliant when I went to collect, he's made a homebrew of Futurama which is incredible, you'd love it.
 
Just a final note on this sale: @Gonzo collected the machine Saturday and got it out through a tricky exit route with no damage to man or machine.

He also made an additional (unasked for) contribution to the selling price. For commercial confidentiality reasons, I am not revealing the final sold price, but this means two things:
1. Opacity is restored to pinball pricing.
2. The value of your private pinball collections has not crashed catastrophically.

Thank you Paul, you're a gent and your top score is vey safe for some time I think :D.

My daughter absolutely loves it. We probably played 30 mins of pinball together yesterday which is the first time in months.

Also, I just wanted to say that there was a lot of pressure on Paul to increase the price of the game or back out of the deal due to the response but he never waivered.

Something is only worth what someone will pay for it - however it is completely up to an individual to advertise for sale something for whatever price they want.

It is great that someone wants to point out that something is for sale too cheaply - the same as those asking £10k for a popye to be advised that it is maybe a little overpriced. The whole reason the "how much is this worth" thread exists is for people to be able to get an idea of what something is possibly worth - it may well be that the seller thinks this is too cheap, and thats fine...
What i'm really not ok with is people then following up (in the background) with "Ignore user x, I'll give you y for it". Gazumping may be ok in some places, however not really welcomed here.

It's a fine line really.. all i would say is that if someone has "overpriced it" and has been advised that it may be too high, if they dont want to change the price they want then so be it - its worth that to them. If it doesnt sell, then thats the sellers issue.
It is also down to the seller as to who they sell it to - After all, it's the sellers property.

Kudos for Paul coming to an agreement with Kris on this 👍
