Up for grabs is my lovely F-14 Tomcat. I have had this machine for the past 4 years or so and it has been very reliable in the time I have had it as most system 11 machines are rock solid.
The machine all works, Mylar on the playfeld has protected it well over the years. Mylar is lifting in places and playfield does show wear for the age, so don’t expect a minty play field.
For a 31 year old machine it is in very good condition.
No fade or marks on the cabinet artwork.
LEDs throughout with the flashers using incandescent globes.
Used in the pinball championships 2015 where it won best classic machine.
It has a couple of damaged plastics up abover the upper Tom Cat targets.
The latch on the back board has come off. Two bolts hold the head on so it isn’t needed anyway.
In my opinion one of the best light shows on any pin.
It is a fast playing machine and fairly hard, so keep that in mind if you haven’t played one before and looking for an easy game.
Designed by one of the industry’s greats “Steve Ritchie”
After £1500 for it.
I will have to take the head off to take out of my house since I have a narrow front door. So it would help if you are confident in putting back together.
I’ll be on the lookout for another machine to replace it to have a change, probably another Stern since I have become a bit of a fanboy of late
