Well I've started to understand why people are reluctant to site pins.

Was working fine this morning now one of the EOS has stopped working. The flipper itself is working fine, had a quick look and it seems to be making contact fine. Any ideas?

Clean the EOS contacts? When you say it's making contact, I'm assuming you mean physically/visually but not electronically in switch test.

Surely that can only be a broken off wire or dirt on the EOS switch? A bit of paper between the connections and drag it through usually does the trick

It always helps if you tell us what the machine is. In general Eos switches are not that important for a sited machine. If it's a Bally Williams then check the daisy chaining from the other eos switches.

You can test the fliptronics board by shorting the relevant terminals on the input connector. You then know whether it's board or loom related. Then check continuity to the eos.

As it's at work I've only just managed to have a quick look on my break the only thing I've found that is abit dodgy at the mo is the thick orange wire that goes into the right flipper (same flipper with the non working EOS) is only holding on by a couple strands. Would that be the culprit even tho that wire doesn't directly go to the switch.

Also I've totally forgotten how to read the switch matrix would anyone be kind enough to explain how to please?
