Hi, i have Data East STAR WARS that doesn't start up properly - doesn't eject a ball; doesn't fire. All else seems ok. Does anyone know of an engineer in the West Yorkshire area I could contact?

Have you checked if it's just a blown fuse? Pretty easy to replace on your own.

Are you able to get into the diagnosis to do a switch test? With the three balls in the trough does it tell you anything?

Page 21 then Entering Diagnosis, Tech Alert. See what's reporting.

Page 24, switch tests, see if the trough and launch switches are working.

If you arnt sure what you are doing then get someone round that can fix it for you. Plenty of guys close to you that will sort it for you.
@CHRIS B PINBALLS and @pinsinthewild are both great guys and pinball engineers that fix machines for a living .
I can totally recommend both of them.
