HI guys im sure its just a cable but i'm missing lights on the right hand side they are ones under the plastics but not under the play filed theres about 5 of them under frankensitne that dont flash, Anyone shed any light on this? ( excuse the pun )
Check the fuse and the connector on the interconnect board in the backbox. The long thin board at the bottom with a ton of connectors on it. The GI connector is often burned up on these - its on the right hand end of the board as you look at it. Look for signs of overheating. Give it a wiggle ...do the lights come on? Reseat it ...do lights come on?
Sorry to resurrect an old thread but had another issue with Elvira ok so this time I took a look at all the connectors on back box and all seemed find then I noticed this …. See pic looks like it has seen better days , must add for awhile the play fields lights ( all of them ) seem a little dull, do you guys think this is the culprit and could also be the culprit for my missing g i lights on the right of the machine ?? Is this an easy part to get hold of? Thanks chaps
Thanks Dex Jay yeah i did see those just wondered if anyone of the uk pinball suppliers had any. will probably order over the weekend was quite surprised by the damage done the pin actually fell out as it had been fused in so bad
Hi folks back again quick question the molex connector on the other end is little brown but on the whole seems to be fine do i need to repinthe whole thing or will i be able to just plug into the new big dayyy go board when it arrives thanks
Upload a pic, I'd probably live with the original molex unless is it really looks FUBAR. If it seems nice and snug when the new one arrives I'd probably leave it.....
