ELECTRIC CIRCUS WINTER WARMER MATCHPLAY

Thanks Greg for coming up and all those who made long journeys. Local guy Todd's brother was visiting from New Jersey so kudos to him !

Great to see the Electric Circus rocking to the sound of Pinball action.
Big thanks to Steve for hosting,Gene for running the competition and Al for the great spread of food.
Congratulations to Nick on the win and Wayne for High Score success
Fabulous effort by Harry in his playoff one ball shootout against PUP … handled the pressure really well and made PUP work for his place in Top 8 👍😂
Great to see so many Midlands Marauders in their T-Shirts… top job by Jordan
Nice to have a couple of games on 007
All in all another Fantastic Sunday of Flippery
Looking forward to the next one 🤔👍😂

its an unmeasurable amount of times better than doing it manually - it means you get more pinball time rather than fixing errors in Excel and doing it manually.
Neil, Im not disuputing it's not quicker or easier to use Matchplay. What I am saying is that it's not as aweesome as some believe as it could do the job a lot better. For the reputation it has, it really ought to avoid duplicating players and machines when there are others which have not yet been used.

There's nothing wrong with Matchplay it did exactly what it was supposed to. Gene sets player pairings to random not balanced, so you're likely to have repeat opponents.
In 'balanced' Matchplay will try avoid repeat apponents as much as possible but there will come a point where it's hard to do that especially when you have four player groups.

Big thanks to Steve Brum and Genotime for a grand day out.
Will be looking for a return weekend instead of a day.
No complaints here.
Happy to pay more for entry fee too 😀
Dave
