Maybe the question should be... how much is it worth to people?

600-800 here... but I might be wrong.

I think it's pigeon Chinese - but with no punctuation and a wonderful mix of upper and lower case letters I can't be sure!!!

Christ, I wouldn't buy that machine on principle; the guy can't write. Just 1 long jumbled up sentence. Definitely need to have a drink in order to read. What a wally :)

has there been some sort of server outage my message from 10/2/14 has gone missing from here too???

In for a penny in for a pound.
Me Own Gorgar

Will be seeking boards or maybe the new dual replacement board when back in stock.
Happy Birthday to me :)

Nice score. I love the artwork on Gorgar.
What's the pf like . It was mostly obscured by the manual on the photo.

Looks nice, but surely properly overpriced?

That's the problem with TAF, it can go for all sorts of prices based on no real logic. Because its the one game everyone wants, not just pinheads you can see some strange prices.....generally high ones!

Havent a clue lol. Ive only seen the pics like you. For £300 im sure it will clean up. Its even been proved on mythbusters that you can polish a turd.
A nice little project to keep me tinkering
I was so tempted by that Gorgar too. £300 would be my limit for a non-worker. Is £340 reasonable considering the missing boards? I guess it's a well known pin (thanks, Pinball Arcade...) so what's the going rate for a fair working example?

ORIGINAL 1960s WILLIAMS PINBALL SKILL BALL 1961 PERSPEX BACKGLASS TRANSLITE
http://r.ebay.com/8wbIw3

£500 Buy It Now

What?!?!? Or is SKILL BALL considered super-ultra-rare at only 650 units? The seller looks like they're just having a poke because their shop sells all sorts of weird stuff: like an empty "Skips" crisp packet from 1999 featuring a Pokemon character for £5!

If I go down the new board route its still a half K machine so Im happy. I like the theme and game so doubly happy

Oh, yeah, GORGAR is a top machine. I played it for the first time "in the flesh" so-to-speak at UK Pinball Party 2013. It was great seeing it and hearing it for real, and knowing most of the rules/gameplay, after much practice on the iPad version of Pinball Arcade.

Would definitely go on my list of classics :D

Isn't it amazing how quickly the non working Turtles always manages to zoom up to the £500 mark before the sale falls through due to a "timewaster". Almost as surprising as seeing the current highest bidder has 100% of their bids with that seller. A more cynical person than myself might think the word shill....

Advice please…..

I was on my phone, was going to make an offer on a fairly large arcade machine, about the space of 3 pins, but somehow ended up hitting the buy button, when I wanted to make an offer…..no idea how…… what a tw@t!!

Where do I stand, I have sent the seller an email …….. saying will offer X, but the item now sits in my items to pay section at the full price!
