but you can file down the coil stop and use it as a drop target stop :) as for rusty balls I have a pile of 'em too, so no need.

Can anyone give me some guidance?

Ive seen this really nice astro Pinball machine.

The PF looks very clean and I would say its an early machine from the Electro mechanical scoring.

Currently the seller does not have the legs fitted but I'm guessing some chrome Bally legs will do the job? Are there any pitfalls of owning a Tomy table? I know Bally can be a little "touchy" with reliability.

What sort of coin mech does this have? I cannot spot the coin slot anywhere?

Thanks

Project with no couriers allowed and pick up from near inverness, and a machine that sounds completely shot for £500... good luck!!!

That one has been repeatedly listed on eBay for the past few weeks.

Don't fancy his chances of shifting it to be honest. Some larger pictures might have been in order because the ones posted are next to useless.

Actually if you click on the pics its goes thru to a Photobucket account and you can zoom right in ........in particular you can zoom right in on the cpu destroying acid that has spewed out of the battery

So ....major cpu repair or replacement board for starters.

I did wonder if there was some shill bidding going on but this one is listed as Selby not Blackpool.

Still could be of course. Seems awfully expensive for that table.

This isn't going to be popular but.....
....actually think 2K for a STTNG is about right at the moment.

Given the toys on it and its standing in IPDB I've been surprised for a while that it's hung around the 1-1.2k mark.
Not arguing that it's "worth" 2k but if people are willing to pay £1500 on a DE SW or over 2k on a SS then this is where we've ended up.
Everything shifted up again - boo:mad: and we haven't even had the knock on effect of the pinball party yet this year.
Worst thing is we've all adjusted our perceptions, much like with house prices the high prices simply don't seem that unusual anymore. I remember really struggling to pay £1k for a TAF a while back and then a few years ago 2k for a LOTR seemed a risky investment. Now it almost seems like a bargain.

So what is going to be the next one to shoot up? Whitewater and Creature seem to be steadily climbing and FT seems to be feeling the love at the moment. Suspect we might see a jump in Roadshow.

Can't find a solution, so it might be SEGAs for me from now on.....

Shill bidding isn't just exclusive to Blackpool :) STTNG recently sold for a high price so now all ebay sellers think that is what they are worth by fair or unfair bidding! ;)

Doesn't matter what title it is all machines are steadily going up in price.
Even DE and Sega.
