Almost certainly BS also .....Williams Jokerz ....£780 ....2 days to go .....30 bids !!??!! Yeah right, everyone wants a Jokerz :rolleyez:

They are pretty f*ckin stupid about it too ...if you look at the bullsh*t WH20 auction bids and then look at the Jokerz bids ........ s***a (133) appears on both with multiple bidding.

Doh ! Not hard to see what is going on Mr Ebay

The Speak-Easy on Ebay.

The sideways picture looked familiar. Sure enough, this 'sold' a little while ago for £365. No mention of this in the new listing. So I checked out the winner bidder from last time:

Hmmmmm........ 100% of their bids are all with the Speak Easy Seller. Shilling doesn't get much more obvious than that. Surely Ebay can pick up on **** like that with minimal effort. They just don't care!

Oh £820 now .......couple more bids from s***a (133) . They are working this one hard.

My experience with Ebay over last 12 months is they don't give a sh*t. An abvious scam pin sale got reported by multiple people I know a few weeks back and it still ran to the end. Some Jamma+ boys now take it in turns to bid it up stupid (under new ID's) and then string the seller along so they get a taste of their own medicine.

Whilst I reside in the Fylde, I'm thankful to be far enough out of Blackpool not to get 'Blackpool' tarnished by these f*ckers.

well the Jamma+ boys are doing a great job but they are still missing a load. i'd be a bit nervous about opening a new email address>ebay account and doing some nonsense bidding too, but if there is a pool of guys doing it now, i consider that a great service to the community - is there an email address i can report dodgy auctions to?

You're supposed to just click the report tab on the auction but again, I've found nothing is done unless it is copyrighted material. I tried to sell a synth that had some Depeche Mode samples on and it got whipped off a day before the auction ended. Try to report an OBVIOUS scam.... nothing.

Ebay are not ****d at all.
They are to busy sitting back and watching the millions roll in.
Think the only way is to do as Jamma+ boys are doing, at lease then you feel like something is being done. And you should get a self satisfaction about it as well.

Just been looking at that one, very very steep

It's a shame some pinball owners and manufacturers have got so greedy these machines are ment to be enjoyed and shared amongst the community. You shouldn't have to remortgage to be able to own some of them lol

I bet if you managed to take a look at stern or jjp costings for their machines I bet it would be quite a shock at at least half the retail price

More than a little jealous though:hail: when you peek into the cabin behind and see the other machines in there. Is it anyone we know? Thought it might be David (from the group) but didn't see a BBB (but I guess that might be inside the house).

Think I've left it too late to ever get a MM now.

Who ever it is looks like he's prob got a good line up. Remember seeing mm and mb going for pretty low prices on the bay a few years ago. I think your not alone on being to late to get one I think we'r all in the same boat they are just to dear :0(

You know as much about how much profit Jack and Gary make from their machines as I do. Zero. 50% profit margin, especially from JJP who has had to kit out a factory from scratch and doesn't build any cabs or playfields in house is a big exaggeration imo

I work with costings every day I know how they work fair enough 50% was an exaggeration but there will be a big mark up. For example when we make a body armour set it costs less than £100 to make say £50 - 70 for one set and they sell for 200 - 300+. Obviously with larger numbers it all evens out abit but u get my point. Not having a pop at any of em they have to make a living but I bet they could be cheaper if they really wanted to

Well yeah, the guys have got to put food on the table. It's been a long time since making pinballs was a way to get rick quick though

I make RD right. I ran a sports bag manufacturers for over 20 years and the normal retail markup was often 100%.

One example:

we produced 'South Park' shoulder bags for HMV stores. Cost to HMV was £8.45 each + vat. Retail price of that bag in the HMV store was £34.95. Work out the markup on that.

10 grand is way to steep for MM. Perhaps he doesnt want to sell it and is just going through the motions? Probably a ploy to show his missus that he is "really getting rid of it this time". Same guy has listed a nice ToM and a TAF at silly prices multiple times also. I suspect he has an auction relisting addiction which many sellers suffer from. Oh well....

How long until the Simspons seller either gets the message that £1000 is too much (or gives in and buys some legs for the bloody thing)............ Is this the 3rd or 4th listing?
