Are you sure Arv? And can I ask what makes you think that?

I did notice that happyslapper sold a table to cath1998 based on feedback left for him. But they're a long way apart and i'm assuming someone on the Yahoo Group must have met Kristian as he would have had to go and collect the BR playfield that he's now trying to sell on. In fact i'm sure the guy donating the playfield said he'd had a few games with him?

If its not the same person, then they are deffo in cahoots..

I met Christian at his lovely place 2 weeks ago to pick up a Pin. Great guy tbh and knows his stuff and collect's Pin's. Has a serious Twilight Zone Pin fetish :D

I'm not sure HS and Cath1998/ PP are related tbh. I think its more a case of two businesses who both look to buy tables cheap and sell them on for a quick profit. I'd be more surprised if they didn't turn up in the low-mid bid range of each others auctions occasionally, bidding up until a collector/ hobbyist pushes the price the price high enough to remove any profit margins.

With that Playboy one for example, HS was looking to buy it back for £400 less than what he sold it for, which would give him a profit, plus the machine to sell all over again for yet more profit.

Also if it was really shilling I don't think PP would have taken the almost £200 loss they seem to have made on the auction overall (edit: unless they reneged on the sale ofc - I've heard bad things about that sort of thing).

Thanks for the heads up on the eBay alias' though - Always worth knowing who's bidding against you.

I'm not sure that James G or many of us would class him as a great guy for taking a FREE playfield , which James *specified* he wanted to go to someone with a machine and not to be immediately flipped on ebay , telling him he had a BR, then putting it straight on ebay. Anyway plenty more about that on Yahoo.

Or a great guy for the less than pleasant response he gave to Dan when he questioned him about that action.

But hey I have never met the guy so who knows, but I know what picture I am building up.

RBW on ebay:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290973349062?ssPageName=STRK:MEBOFFX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1427.l2649

Asked seller if all was present in the top box and if the game worked correctly other than the flipper. Answers were seriously avoiding the subject and just said "spares repair". No yes/no or anything.

Its a simple question and one I thought I would ask due to the nature of the pictures and the vague description. Yes states as spares or repair but is it just because of the missing items or that it does not play correctly?

Maybe I'm missing the point but being still fairly new to pins I thought it a valid point.

Newbs beware on this one.

Bit ambiguous calling it a UK import too. Yes it is isn't he same way most other Pins are made outside the UK and then shipped in, but it's just a plain old black model which is by far the most common in the UK.

I could do with spares for mine but who it's from is enough to put me off. I'm slowly getting on top of mine so ill just take my time I think.....

Well it's in Blackpool and I recognise the seller ID. Think it's another of the accounts used by PP, just like cath1998.

It's definitely another of PP's accounts, Wayne is the Son of Steven, Andy is Wayne's brother.

Cath1998 is definitely an alternative account of PP's as well.

Interesting.... Pulled and relisted.......

'Relisted due to a time waster'

Again !!!! Those pesky time wasters eh ........I must be just be lucky having sold more than 500 items on ebay I have never had one time waster. Prob jinxed myself now eh ...before I know it I'll be shilling up my own auctions

It's the worlds vaguest listing I think - it mentions the backglass is missing but they fail to show any photos of the head of the machine. For all the buyer knows the boards could be missing. Silly money too - I only paid that for my fully working one.

That's fair enough i was not speaking for you guys i was advising on my own opinion tbh, well not even my opinion that's how the guy was when we met.
