Supply and demand I expect. I assume a lot of people missed out on one so put the extra on the next, then the expectations goes up and people are willing to pay more. That opens the supply as people are willing to sell at that price and flood the market until there is not as many people willing to pay the higher price. Now it is Popeye that they all want to buy for big bucks.

It may well be another games turn! Do you guys remember when Indiana Jones' starting going for mental money. I mean ropey examples hitting way over 3K? It was crazy. Then shed loads of them started appearing on Ebay as, like Cal said, all the owners thought they could cash in and sell theirs. The prices soon dipped back down again.

Feels like I've seen a glut on Popeyes coming out over the last few months. RFMs also seem to be coming out of the woodwork now that they've shot up in value.

'Great Condition' - except its filthy dirty, rust to ramp flap, rusty pitted wireform, battered rubbers, scoop wear, rusty corroded screws and metal everywhere ....but luckily you can use the 'Zoom' feature to see all those :rolleyez:

'No missing parts' - except one of the bumper caps

Not one picture of the machine switched on. I wonder why .... it wouldn't be that the DMD is prob flaky or that no doubt half the lights are out ??? Surely not 🕵️

I hope this is a sham, or there is a risk that some poor Star Wars crazed innocent is gonna be seriously screwed over with that sorry example.

9 playfield pictures and not one picture of the cabinet sides?

To bid on this POS without a visit is complete madness.

Plenty of people talking about, and showing interest in getting one of these.
Nows your chance, 99p start price. Fill yer boots.

Yep - love mine, was genuinely surprised how much fun it is to play, it looks like a ridiculous happy meal toy but it just puts a smile on yr face to play. Its a great beer game with buddies :D Be interesting to see what it goes for ...if it goes the distance.

UPDATE - £640 in the end. Wow.

Looks dodgy as hell and have told them so.... Surprise, surprise, no response. Avoid it like the plague.

I reported that one to ebay when I saw it, as it looked dodgy to me too. Some poor sod is going to get conned out of thousands if they are not careful.

Reactions: JT.
He'd be lucky to get £350 for the whole game....2 knackered displays, worn pf, coils not working and no sound board :scared: The key point in that listing is how he spent £390 on a new board and now needs to recoup some cash. Not thinking about what the machines actually worth but what he needs to make :tsk:

The bloke is a knob.
Why the f**k break a machine for parts when its a easy fix to get it fully working.
People like that really "Grind my Gears"
