Only stupid ones. Couldn't shift my nice one for more than £750 or so only a few months ago... and as for the one above, would avoid it like the plague knowing who's flipping it.

I don't understand why if you go to the trouble to LED the machine and add new plastics,you don't repair the damage to the wooden backglass frame

Because the plastics and led's are just bolt on, repairing and touching in the wood work takes a bit of skill!

LEDs in Classic Ballys a dubious choice imho. Clean incandescent bulbs with clean inserts do the job

The only place I use LED's on classic Bally or Williams macihnes is for the GI to save connector burn and heat damage on pop bumpers or backglasses.

Maybe this should be a thread on it's own?
Isn't there different types of LED that now replicate the incandescent bulbs? Can the LED glow nowadays? Or are they simple on or off? Dare I ask about ghosting?
Maybe someone could educate us all? Or just me!
It will probably end up as personal preference

Didn't sell. No surprise. The description was just based on the game, not 'his' game. I'd like to know about plastics, inserts, playfield etc etc at this price.

£3.5K start bid is probably about right price IMO if decent but yep, with better photos and details, would likely sell as a BIN. My refurbed one (ex cab) went for £2.9K a year or so ago.

seller would NOT accept my payment method thus breaking eBay agreement. This has been reported to eBay and I could leave negative feeback (but wont ) . I am sure that any seller on here and the sellers of any of the 50+ arcade machines I bought from eBay in the last 12 months will confirm that payment is always arranged promptly (often within minutes) and collection as prompt as possible.

Heh, that's funny. Ebay is a joker a minute..... I sold a synth a few weeks back and one guy asked me how many keys it had, despite full clear pictures of it. I stupidly answered with just the number and he responded 'does that include the black ones?'.... wtf. Thought it was a mate taking the **** so I answered appropriately. He wasn't impressed....
