I couldn't sell one for 200 complete not working in 2007. I had to send the playfield and glass to an old friend in Canada. Never hasca game on eBay had so little interest

Yeah, £3250 already and it is really is 'players condition':confused:

With Christmas well out of the way I thought prices would start getting a little more sensible. I've not been following pin prices like I have videogame prices for the last 15+ years but even though. Or is it all shill bidders, messers and non payers?

I actually think this time of year is solid selling time. Christmas expenses dealt with, summer hols a way off yet. People are buying.

The new Sterns are setting the prices here. New Sterns have gone up in $ terms due to manufacturer price rises. £ has gone down post Brexit.

The reality is that some features of New Sterns are better, some features of 20 yr old WPCs are better. But they basically do the same thing if the WPC has been maintained.

But, if folks are buying these NIB Sterns, then they need to make room by selling a pin?

I am not sure as many NIB Stern are being sold as I would quite fancy Aerosmith LE.....but at £9500, well, it's not going to happen. But it makes older games 'seem' cheap and so the prices have risen fast, in line with Stern NIB prices.

And it seems demand is strong right now!!

Don't forget the endless sea of new pin buyers that ALWAYS remember TAF as being available to play everywhere and anywhere. Hence the apparent desperate need to get one. I was totally in that category when i got mine, then the crushing reality of how boring i found it kicked in after just twenty minutes. OH well....So glad i didn't pay 4K for one.

I agree with above, if new stern = 9800, old bally williams A lister well looked after at 7k- 8k becomes reasonable value. Then depends on prefs

I payed 4500 for a brand new stern at the same time as buying a very nice MM for 5500, so what is the lovely MM soon ?

Fathom back up!

Look at this on eBay
Bally Fathom pinball machine!

I don't understand why if you go to the trouble to LED the machine and add new plastics, you don't repair the damage to the wooden backglass frame

When I got back into pinball TAFs were about £2800. That was August last year. Simply crazy money now. At these figures you can't blame people for selling on eBay. 4k would buy a couple of nice machines....or at least it used to. Even something like that Radical at 1395 is going to start looking cheap to some people.
