Popeye is much sought after (and valuable) game now that ColorDMD have released a screen for it. ;)

Multiple Vectors anyone??? (3 in fact!!)

Tempted... because both have playfields that appear to have considerably less wear than mine!

Ok, it's on my watchlist. If anyone else is considering this let me know so that we don't start bidding against each other. I just want a decent playfield. Mine old one could still be used in the "third" machine to build a spare fully-working game. I've got plenty of spares too and know what I'm doing! Maybe someone else would like to partner up on a sort of dual project deal?

FYI: @rockhouse

still working on the one i've got when i get time
and other projects i wont step on your toes
but very interesting. now if it was fireball!:)

considering the low production run on vector, they must have shipped half of them to europe,as they always seem to turn up,I guess the seller used to be invloved in the scene a bit as he appears to know martin

I myself won't be bidding, but if someone buys them to keep one and part the other out,I may be intrested in some spares

I'd be interested in contributing to gain a players Vector but I fear the final price will be prohibitive

I went to look at this Apollo 13 yesterday as its local to my area. In a pretty reasonable condition but kept getting a ball lost/stuck in the trough VUK. All switches seemed fine on switch test but it happened a few times. Display test fine. No problems with the batteries leaking and all boards looked clean. The speakerboard plastic is detaching in the bottom right corner from the assembly but otherwise cabinet is good. I couldn't complete the blastoff letters to activate the 13 ball multiball. I tried the ramp and orbit combos with glass off but just couldn't get it going. And for those that listened to Joe Balcer at the Pinball Party talking about how he used his name in reverse on the translite...

I've seen people on here struggle to get £800 in the past for a fully working HS2 (which in itself is criminal as it is a really good game) so £520 (so far) for a rusty, dirty, broken one, with missing parts and a chopped loom is ridiculous. ebay bidding is like a disease.

It's an increasingly common disease called 'Project Fever' . As pin prices seem to ever rise the desire to score a 'bargain' fixer upper completely overrules any of the usual logic processes. ;)

Couldn't agree more @Sgt GrizZ. I think I've been the luckiest guy to snag a couple of genuine project pins for a little over £100 each. I suspect they'd be triple that on eBay if that SPACE INVADERS barn-find cabinet-only auction for £400 is anything to go by.

Keeping my eye on that double VECTOR deal but suspect it'll go for silly money.

Who's buying these pins? They don't seem to end up coming here...
