Save the date... for the 2026 East Anglian Pinball Open!

20th - 22nd March 2026

Thetford, Norfolk, UK

4 competitions:
  • Five game card tournament (240% TGP)
  • Hybrid best game tournament (225% TGP)
  • Group matchplay tournament (114% TGP)
  • A 120% TGP Sunday Matchplay tournament!
Plus prize money - TBC!

Tickets go on sale 6th September 2025.

Would this be an okay event for a beginner who is awful at pinball but wants to play more? I'll almost certainly come dead last but would I still be able to hang around, meet people and play other machines once I'm out?

As this is over a year away I would advise getting to some other competitions in the mean time. We all start out awful, your game will improve with access to more machines, speaking to other players and watching other players wether in a competition environment or through a competition streamed. The streamed competitions are a great way to learn the rules on a lot of games as the commentary team usually touch on them. Come along as it will be a big learning experience for you.

Our Pinhaus comp is in April, held in Sudbury (See here Thread 'Pinhaus X: Pool Party! - 12th April' https://www.pinballinfo.com/community/threads/pinhaus-x-pool-party-12th-april.61110/ )
We also run an East Anglian league which is probably perfect for you, held at different peoples homes with a more social feel.

There's a great bunch in East Anglia and plenty of smaller events. Then you'll be ready for the open next year 😉
 
That looks great, annoyingly I have plans on April 12th but I'll keep an eye out for other future events in the area.

There's loads of events going on in East Anglia these days :) I'd you DM me your email I'll add you to our East Anglia mailing list with updates about tournaments and league dates etc if you'd like.
