So I've got a right flipper E.O.S switch stuck closed.
End of the world or can it wait a few days while i wait for a replacement?
In the meantime is it ok to continue playing?

Thanks!

Nope, do not continue playing, the coil will get heat damaged in a short period of time with the EOS switch stuck closed, as it will always be running high power when you are holding the flipper.

Unless it's a solid state flipper game, where the power cycle will just timeout, but for the EOS to be stuck, i'm assuming it's a high voltage EOS and it's welded itself closed?

Guess you've seen that in a test report, so guess we're talking modern wpc era game in which case carry on playing, will make no difference or you could raise the playfield and adjust the switch that us stuck closed.

Sorry guys I guess I should have mentioned it's on my TZ I just picked up. The right EOS switch one of the blades has a hairline crack in it causing to to "flop" closed on the lower one making it closed.
I was worried about frying the coil or transistor if I carried on playing until I get a new one.

As per Andy above, you are fine then as it is a solid state flipper game, so the high power pulse just times out after a pre-set maximum period.
