We went here as a family, with daughter and granddaughter last summer and had a brilliant 3 day holiday in Margate. Even with the roller coaster not yet open it was a great value day in Dreamland. Better still Pinball Parlour are in the arcade section which you can go in to without paying to go in to Dreamland itself.

Bit unexpected. The news article suggests they haven't even had a full year open yet, and given that it's quite a seasonal attraction... just seems a bit too soon to say it's a failure?

It's probably as simple as they've run out of money to keep it going pay wages etc for the next few weeks and nobody is prepared to lend or invest any more money with the current owners to tide them over for the next few weeks. They might have been looking to see how much money came in over the bank holiday weekends and half-term to see if enough to eel out s bit more.

Also possible that if one year on got initially opening that's number of bills are due they can't be met. EG annual insurance premium - I can't imagine that's got any cheaper after the Alton Tower accident
