Hi Dom... I'm looking to buy... Tell me more please ? And thank you for your replyColin
Are you looking to buy or trade?
I have a Dr Who...
Dom
It's ok Dom... I was a little excited I have to say lol...Colin,
Sorry, I didn’t mean to raise your hopes. I have a Dr Who but I wasn’t really looking to sell. I would consider a trade for something else or even a swap on a temporary basis but I would not want to sell outright. I find the process of committing money to buy a pinball machine straining so I would not want the money committed to my Dr Who in the bank. Anyway, the one I have isn’t that good: it hasn’t got the topper, the cabinet is faded, the slingshots are broken and one of the switches on the mini-playfield only works on test. Sorry.
Dom
Thank you.... I would consider something different... But Dr Who would be my first choiceThere are plenty out there
Indeedy !!! I'm not a great fan of Dr who now myself... But the pin being designed around the daleks brings back happy memories of my youthNot a great fan of the Dr who pin myself but it would be no fun if we all liked the same machines
Thank you really appreciate that... You can call me anytime...Colin
I'll give you a call.
Dr Who is like marmite. Some people like it. Some people hate it. I've had mine for the past 10 years and I'm not bored of it. It is the kind of games where you can have 5 games and they will be all over in 5 mins abs you'll feel like you have wasted your time. And then you'll get a good game and it will be brilliant. I like it. It is a hard game. It sits next to the shadow and spiderman. And i play it as often as the others.
Well... Its prob best i keep my options open for a pin I guess.. . But I really appreciate your comments... I've had so much great advice of this Forum and being a virgin I need it lolDr Who was my first pin and I got it 'cos I remembered playing it at uni. It's a cool pin with the Darlek's toy, if a little repetitive. I got a few months of enjoyment out of it before trading it in - it was definitely fun![]()
Thank you for the call Dom... Much appreciated...Colin
Nice speaking with you.
As I said: best to try several machines before deciding what to get and the pinball league meets is a good way to do that.
I have also found this forum a good place to buy a decent pinball in working order.
Dom
