Dr Pinball colour DMD?

Does anyone know if this is a known "homebrew" colour DMD setup or is it just something that previous owner put together?

I have a few of Dave’s single colour units.

You can slightly colorise them by choosing different colours based on the brightness value of each dot.

I have one of the early DMD extenders, which extended the DMD to a second screen on the apron. Very good to teach newbies to read the information when they are still hyper focused on the flippers rather than looking up.

There was software to colourise the frames but I remember it was legally challenged at the time.

He was at Pinfest last year, so is still about.

Anyone recall roughly what they sell at?

Ahh thanks for this.

In that case it's not a DMD Xpress, I think it's a homebrew setup with a DMD extender and a separate HDMI to LVDS converter.

Unless it's one of the early revisions

Yes its his DMD Extender board and this was a DIY option, he sold the DMD Extender and has instructions and parts list for DIY fitting an LCD monitor instead of the DMD.
