Hey guys
My dmd clock has been in storage for a while and now it keeps resetting every few seconds.

I’m hoping I just need to update it but I can’t remember how.

I know I need to reflash the memory card but I don’t know how to.
Any help would be appreciated
Cheers

You'll need to reformat the SD Card in the clock, see this link for the details of the card location:

https://github.com/sigmafx/DotClk-Help

I suggest you use the official SD Card formatting tool:

https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/

Please do a full format which will take a little while.

When formatted please copy the necessary files following the instructions from here - see Download Resources:

https://github.com/sigmafx/DotClk-Resources

I did this as I changed my micro SD card as the original kept losing data, sorted mine out, lot's more animations from my original download.

All the best,

Chris.

Thanks mate. I should have said, mine is the initial run of run dmd from arcade otaku. A quick google suggests they image file is no longer available.

Is there anyone @Paul ? Who has a copy of the latest image file they could send me.
I’ll be honest I am computer illiterate so the whole HDD raw file thing blows my tiny mind.
If anyone would be willing to do it for me if I send an SD card that’d be awesome

Hiya mate,

Those were the same as mine from what I remember. I’m sure I have the image somewhere... am away at the mo - let me see if I can dig it out on Monday for you [emoji1303]

Thanks Paul. Legend. I may have found one from a link on pinside. I’ll let you know if I need it.

@chris b Sadly Rick will chase anyone - my experience was creating a plunger plate with Cactus Canyon serial number feature - it had a sheriff badge similar to a dukes of hazzard badge and breached no WMS / Cactus Canyon IP yet wanted me to take it down ....

@Spandangler glad it helped - I had issues so felt others would need help

In many countries, including the US and UK, If you’re a trademark holder you’re obliged to defend against infringement of it once you are made aware of it, lest you risk diminishing or losing your claim over said mark.

Some companies are more strident with policing of the marketplace than others, but the principal is the same, and there are risks in failing to respond because the offending party is deemed too small: https://www.forbes.com/sites/oliver...enforce-trademarks-if-you-snooze-do-you-lose/
