Sound card is actully working - some of the time! Usually when first switch on (but sometimes not). If it does work, then it generally runs out of puff and stops working part way through the first or second game. A reboot doesnt then always bring it back.

I guess it's going to be the std stuff - header pins, check voltages and then replace the electrolytic caps.

pinwiki also suggests a jumper between pins 39 and 40 of the PIA - I'll check to see if that is there or not.

Did work on the sound board. it has had previous repairs, for broken traces. redid the headers. did the pia jumper. it’s now working a lot better. not fully soak tested yet, but is certainly a big improvement.

Next job is to clean the playfield and plastics and order up some new rubbers and other stuff.

Game boots but only second power cycle. Sound is still a bit hit and miss.

Playfield cleaned, all bulbs fixed. new rubbers.
Looking a lot better.
