Think my D.I camera sensor is going, it is not registering motion.. I have tried in settings, not registering any hand movements, but does recognise faces and when that moves!?

Have you tried a complete software reload, you can back up your scores etc on USB if you are that bothered.
JJP games are PCs with interface boards as you well know, it could be a software issue.
Purely it is a USB camera and I can not find any movement sensor (like a passive infra ref) in the manual.
IF it goes to the motherboard on a standard USB then unplug it and try it in a laptop and see if you can see it working. If it isnt a great picture the camera could be on its way out.

The picture is still great.
Picks up faces perfect. When waving hand at it it does register, then if I move my body it detects motion
I have played with the settings, on its most sensitive it picks up hand movement. But when playing and the lottery ticket mode comes up, it automatically scratches off

Yeah - sounds like software.
Just do a reload.

If you leave it in attract mode for 10 minutes or so, then walk past the machine, does it detect you and shout "hey you..." and various other sounds? It should...
