Fully working but please read description!

Plays perfectly with strong flippers and a good DMD, wear near flippers on playfield and cab has a few knocks, comes with legs, bolts and keys.

The reason this failed to sell to the first buyer is that when he came to pick it up, it developed a sound board interface error, I've checked all the traces on the board and re-seated chips and the error went away but has gone away and come back a couple of times since. The sound still works perfectly, I've seen this before in a Corvette (not mine) which worked fine with sound for years and probably still is working wherever it is.
I believe a new set of sound roms MAY cure the problem if not then possibly new sockets for the sound chips.

Secondly on Saturday, the display came up with complete garbage and wouldn't display anything apart from rubbish, yet another display worked fine. Tested yesterday and today, it works fine, there's no reason to think it will be anything other than fine, but just wanted to make people aware of this.

I'm in Uttoxeter, Staffs. Courier is fine, I can wrap it up no problem.

Even if i got it though it wouldnt be permanant as we need cash for the new house. But it would definatley keep me quiet in the garage for a few weeks at least
 
Tell you what. If nobody else wants it by the weekend ill offer 900 cash & collected on sunday. That deal has pleased the lady overlord. Which is the most important factor to me. wink wink

Just waiting for a friend to get back to me if we can go and pick it up on the weekend:) i can't wait, feel like a kid at xmas. Hopefully it won't be to much of a gamble. ;) Pete
 
No problem. It was a bit of a punt. Will give me more time to save up for the pin I'm really after. May have to move one on which is difficult as I like them all or I can fold a couple and rotate..

These days buying a good game like this for £950 is as good as it gets. Not really a gamble as play it, enjoy, move it on!

I agree totally. Getting a Williams superpin under a grand could soon be a thing of the past. :( hopefully the sound interface problem is just (in theory)

A glitch and may be a good excuse to put in the profanity Roms :) i have been reading about upgraded Roms? Has anyone used these? And how have they got on with them? Pete

I am getting near that dilemma as we speak. LOL. I swore to the missus, that four would be the right amount, (after the third one) now DM. A little bit of rotation may have to happen :( but which one? Like kenny, i enjoy them all, in their own way :)

I got them, but after playing DM for 5 years so for me they added a nice new layer to a game I was already bonded with. Def worth it tho!!
 
I may have to have a word with Paul in that case.:) i think i will play it for a while and then swap over to see what i have been missing. What levels have you got it set up? Or is it default setting? Pete
