The game developed this fault during pinfest. Need to get it sorted so as I can get Deadpool challenge 2024 going.

Any advice is much appreciated 👍

EDIT- Sorry I couldn't see the pokey up bit, so it may not be snapped. Possibly a C-clip missing, the washer shouldn't be sat in the middle of the spring.

Think it's snapped mate the original appears to be shaped like below, my Robocop laser kick has done this recently you should be able to just replace that part cheaply not the whole mech.

The coil should be pulling it down when activated I think, and not fire it up, so it should be up when resting.

Going by that pick, looks like the plastic part has slid down into the metal part, is it missing the little thumb screw to hold it in position?

Thanks guys.

I think you're right Chris. That one seems a lot longer than mine (not the first time I've said that this week).

Actually no thats not right, the spring should be below the C-clip, looks like its slid above it so the springs not pushing all the way up.

So the washer thingy has slipped down too far?

I dont think its longer

I think the spring has worked its way over the clip so half under and half over, that clip should be at the top when resting.

Okay, thanks mate. That gives me something to work with. Much appreciated

Has the E-ring #6 popped off ? That'd leave the washer #9 hanging below.

The clip is still there on the shaft I think from the video, but part of the spring is above it when it shouldnt be, stopping it from going all the way up as its pushing against the remainder of the spring that is below it.

Looking on the video the clip is in the middle of the spring and that looks like an e-clip to me as you can see the cutouts in it.

Bit hard to tell from that diagram if the nylon washer should be above or below the e-clip.

It's an e-clip I've posted the part number above, from the Deadpool prem manual.

E-Clip is still place along with the nylon washer. When he manually pushes it overcoming the pressure of the spring being on the wrong side of the e-clip it sits in the right spot, its just part of the spring has worked its way past the e-clip when it should all be below it.

Sorted boys . . . couldn't have done it with out you.

There was a little groove on the shaft and the ring had to slot inside (the is unintentional inuendo btw).

Just tested it and working perfectly. Perhaps the ring clip thingy might need replacing but it's all good for now.

Cheers chaps

It’s a known fault after a while, check pinside mate

I'm all sorted Brad but thanks mate. Just off to record a video on it now and outline the shocking new rules!!!!
