Had all 3 ball trough switches replaced and all seemed fine!
When starting the game, it shoots all 3 balls into the lane and the coils start going mad! Basically, when the flashers should be on, the coils are working instead but in time with how the flashers should.
Diagnostic even shoots the coils when it should be doing a flasher cycle in lamp test.
Still shows a fault on 1 2 and 3 trough switch though, but then it would, wouldn't it?
Any help in resolving this headache is appreciated.
I'm a newbie so the patient with me!

Thanks

I've had something similar on my LW3 - for me it was the K1 relay (or the AB relay) that needed changing. This explains it https://techniek.flipperwinkel.nl/desega/ (& many other things - it should point you in the right direction)

That's one of the issues that has been mentioned to me. It has on 2 occasions worked fine for over 2 hours, then started playing up again. If there was a problem with the relay, wouldn't it just not work at all?
Really weird and more frustrating than anything else.
So basically, the pmb needs removing and a new relay fitted?

Thanks

I've heard they can be a bit 'sticky' - I vaguely remember that mine fixed itself periodically. I've also heard that giving them a gentle tap can get it moving - I think they are a physical relay, rather than semiconductor. It was my first real soldering challenge as I'm not a great at soldering (though I'm getting better over time) - a bit of a pain to remove, but I managed it with pretty basic soldering kit.

This is basically the answer in a nutshell. Replace the relay

Well it might be. But first things first. Check you have power going to the relay coil, and that the drive to the relay is good. It may just be a fuse. ( fuse 6 on power supply or 8a slow blow in the cabinet feeding br2 supplying 25v ac ) If fuse blown BR2 maybe short.

Bridges are much more likely to fail than relays.

BR2 is one of the two bridges screwed into the back box.
