DE Super VUK cap removal??

I don't think I have ever had to take one of these apart before.

How do I remove the cap bit where the ball sits so as can get it all out of the mounting brackets? Can't see any obvious screw, it just has some weird collar thing.

I need to replace a mangled spring at the plunger end.


Someone please give me the simple answer [emoji16]

Slide one or more of the clips down towards the spring then slide the pin out of the slot

Bit fiddly but all done. Cheers Andy.

For anyone else doing this in future the little pin will fall out easily once the collar is slid down so be careful you don't lose it [emoji16]

When you’ve put the clips back on ensure the opening in the clip isn’t in line with the pin as it can then fall out.
