Hi guys, hope you can help me?
I have a Data East pin, that when I put it into diagnostics on test lamps has 1, 9, 25, 33, 41, and 49 missing. Looking at the matrix lamp chart I can see that this comes under the same row Q72. Looking at the CPU board diagrams this goes back to lamp return 1?
What's odd about the problem is the lamps don't initially light up in the test, but then after a couple of minutes they come on, and all lamps are lit?? They could then be fine for a while, and then go off again with the same issue?
I'm not an expert with pinball maintenance, but I'd really appreciate some thoughts on how to fix this. Could it be a transistor on the CPU board at the lamp return 1 location?
Thanks
