Date & time not setting!?

OK, so I haven't played pinball for a week or two, some of the since last year.
Today I go and play TAFG, turn it on and it scrolls through the time & date on the DMD. It says 10th Oct 2013. So I change it to today. I then go round all 8 of my machines all of them are out of sync. A couple had 10th of a month in 2013 with the time correct?? All batteries are pretty much new and all my high scores are still on each machine. And at no time did it flash up date&time not set!?

Anybody else encountered/have this problem

I have a feeling they dont keep time/date very accurately. Sure in the past I have noticed mine slip after a while. I don't really care - I have trouble knowing what day it is at the best of times
