Managed to make some space for a new pin.... shhh don't tell the wife!

Like data east/sega games to work on.
Would like another to play with in between fixing Hook.

What have you got?
Prefer broken/non working etc

PM me
Thanks

Thanks Replicas.

I like the sheds and basket case machines. Sad I know but sometimes I enjoy fixing them just as much as playing them ;)

Likewise.

Happy to sell you this basket case of a Robocop than Dan bought for the group..! Only problem being the £420 it cost....!

Supposed to be fully working except a small matter of blowing a fuse. I looked inside the backbox to find one of the worst cases of battery rot I've ever seen in a game...

Oh and can deliver to Daventry if you're really interested!

Oooof, that's the one from Pontefract right?

Be really nice to see it all up and running again - I played a Robocop in Denmark a few months back and found it a really nice game to play.

Thats the sort of machine mate yes.
£420 is a bitter pill to swallow though. I know the machine I think? on ebay? I was offered it for 300 off of auction. How did the price get so high? Ebay's a crazy place at times!

Seller knew it was fooked if its the same one. Has starwars bumper covered on it? Was first in a halfway house and sold on ebay for 350. Then put back on ebay again by a funeral company?

Both sellers took the pish as they both knew it was rotten in there.

No picture in your post though.

Shame for the site/forum.
I should have bought it when I had the chance :(

Will dig out the ebay replies I have.

No need and yes it is the same one, including the Star Wars sling plastics. It was Dan's ebay purchase with beer goggles on me thinks... I'd avoided it when I saw it on ebay (original listing) and didn't realise that it was the one that Dan had bought. An experienced buyer like Dan knows to ask for pictures in the backbox, etc so had no worries taking it on from him as working but blowing a fuse.

Have since found the listing that Dan bid on...

That was a relist with super small photos to avoid everyone seeing the bulb burns and Star Wars slings. Hmm, was £250 with 4 mins to go...

I can easily tackle it and have it working but it is at the back of the queue way behind several other ongoing projects.

Yes listed as not working but both mislead buyers when asked about condition. Both knew the board was rotten.

I have faith that you can probably do this machine in your sleep but for me I cant got to 420. if it was still at 350 I would tackle it.

In which case I guess it'll just stay at the back of the queue of things to fix...

There's quite a few people keen to play this one so they'll be glad with me keeping it as they know I'll get round to fixing it evenually.

Oh no, not the Robocop that was "bulb burnt". First thing I thought was a new board which is what £200-300 and wasn't sure if that would be the case, but enough to scare me.

Then I posted ad when it was still cheap and @cooldan took it. Partly to blame for that one then enticing it. I can offer up the P-ROC version to whoever needs it as consolation

Not sure if it's that great of an offer because you have to buy an extra 2 boards to run it! So it's more money.

But with a game as simple in a layout as Robocop, you could make countless different games and juice it up a lot.

Nice game mate. Played it for the first time last weekend. Totally bonkers. The one I played was a "Manny" restore so was super nice.
New decals are available if yours are faded.

I've never played one to be honest.
Mines never going to be a manny but I would like to get it to a sound and reliable players standard. Its pretty rough right now.
Decals could well be needed
