Been working on this curse of Frankenstein bust at the same time as my big curse of Frankenstein kit. Think it came out pretty good

Well this one is now finished this was one of my grail kits long out of production. Earlier this year they remoulded it so I finally got my hands on one. As I always like to I’ve added extras bottles, jars, jar of eyes which I made by hand, brain in jar with electrodes, heart in jar.

Have you done any custom toppers for pinball machines? I was looking recently for a maybe 3/4 size topper and couldn’t find much at all out there. Sure there must be demand what with people’s fondness for modding and customising their pins, virtual pins and even arcade marquees/toppers.

No I haven’t done any. This kit is pretty big it’s 1/6 scale so the figures are about a foot high

So inbetween producing these bleddy BSD mods I have 2 new huge projects.
A huge 2 foot tall Karloff Frankensteins monster from 1993 a grail piece for me that I’ve been after for years.
And a King Kong vs V -Rex’s this one I’ve wanted since I first saw the sculptor working on it years ago. He finished it a year or so ago and now a uk producer is selling it. This thing is huge features kong and 3 V-Rex’s. The Rex’s are about the size of kittens.
Even though I told myself I wouldn’t work on it until I’ve caught up and finished franky. I’ve done my normal custom touch and recast the dino tongues out of dental acrylic. So they have that real look and semi transparent so the light glows through them slightly at the right angle. One I start building them they will get a wash with a different colour to make the details pop

I have a couple of items from Sopranos, the fish looks like somebody has painted it purple and the dancing girls look very tired.
They would look much better with red high heels and some fresh makeup

Commissions closed until September I need a break all my spare time this year has been mods and commissions. Not that I’m not grateful just need a break to do my own things

The mods have slowed up I’m doing 2 at the mo they just take so long lol. Not sure how long the main mold has left as the crate has started to get really hard to pull out. Already replaced the tombstone mold due to the resin fusing with the silicone. Once the main mold goes not sure if I’ll be redoing it unless I have a decent amount of orders to warrant the price of silicone.
