Never played the original but there's no way it can be as crap as the Stern version. Up there on my dislike list with RS and Transformers

Out of interest how much RS and TF have you played John to work up such hatred ?
The Bally one is ok actually, I played it quite a bit up at PlayExpo recently.
Hated RS since the 90s. Stopped me playing for the best part of 10 years. Couldn't even tell you what I hate about it, think it's the creepy heads. Theme and Music also annoy me. Toyed with buying one a couple of times to see if I could get over my hatred but couldn't go through with it......
TF really winds me up for some reason. Partly the grey playfield just makes me feel bored looking at it. Only played it on two different occasions but both time really, really hated it and wanted the games over. Naturally I then got extra balls and a replay. Think it's been the only time I've walked away from a table with credit on it. Maybe if I understood what I had to do then I would have been more into it but it just bored the crap out of me and I was dying for the game to end. Guess partly it's because I never had the toys as a kid and have no intention of watching the films as an adult.
I'm sure there are people who love both tables and good luck to them. It would be a boring world if we all liked the same things (and remember I have zero credibility as I like BBH, DM and Avatar)

Bally Rolling Stones is a pretty fun game. I spent a few games on it when we went down to the Parlour.
Not as good as that Frontier they had though
