This morning my dell optiflex 9020 refused to wake I did a hard reset now it hangs on this screen? It has no raid nothing I do will bring it beyond this screen! Tried to get into boot options etc no joy, anyone any ideas?
Switch on/ restart and press the del key to try and get in to the bios. If you do get in to the bios auto detect the hard drive. Save the settings and hopefully it'll work.
And if that ^^^^ doesn't work either, then open the case, locate the coin battery (typically a CR2032, but best to double check) on the motherboard, replace it, and try booting it again. This battery is used to allow the BIOS settings to be saved when the PC is powered down, so if it goes flat, the BIOS settings are lost every time you power down the PC - the typical result of which is then a failure to boot.
Thanks guys I was trying that and it says in top corner boot options with a loading bar in the middle but still ended up on that screen! Just tried it again and it’s now loaded windows! Strange, still not sure what happened? Bios battery running low?
