If you just run standard dots which would you recommend? LCD or LED? I never use any of the merged settings they look like blurry messes.

Ironman. Similar to Tron with movie clips. I’d go for LED. Suits that style of pin..
Got led in mine and it’s really nice, lcd in my Tron and it’s
compared and they are next to each other.
