Found it! ColorDMD Stern cable

Long shot but anyone got the special cable needed to connect a ColorDMD to a Stern. Want to try out the colour ROM for Metallica. Happy to buy or borrow...

Pinball Palace is out and don't want to get from MoP or anywhere else overseas.

I make a cable to drive an LCD and DMD Extender - I think it's the same as the ColorDMD cable, I just get the power from a different place to them. If you're interested let me know. It's £10 + delivery.

Hi David. If you can make a cable that's compatible I'll give it a try. One end goes in to the colordmd, and the other end goes down into the cabinet, right to the front right of the cabinet, and connects to the extra power source next to the coin door. The original cable has a split in it at this point so if there is already something plugged in to the power source (like illuminated flipper buttons) then both can use the power source.
