Chipped worn paint on a stern coin door can it be touched up?

Hi on the top right of my LOTR coin door I have a small worn chip, is there anything that can be easily done, I could get it powder coated but that would be taking the thing apart and costing a bit, it's not particularly noticeable just irritating to my OCD me, any advice would be appreciated

Yeah, easy peasy. I'd buy some 2K straight black gloss paint + activator. Mix the smallest amount and dab in with a fine cheap Chinese brush. Like a 0 size round.
You'll end dabbing bits in here and there (I'll just do this bit.. oh, I'll do that as well...)

Thanks, being totally inexperienced with paint and looking on line at the two compound choices, is there a particular one you could recommend please, looks like a bit of a minefield buying the wrong one

Give it a go! Make sure the repair area is grease free, wipe with a touch of Isopropol Alcohol, dab the smallest amount in, use a matchstick if you don't have a brush, if you don't like the way it looks just wipe it off. (It goes without saying use a tin of Hammerite, not an aerosol...if using an aerosol squirt a bit into a small plastic container, then dab with that.)

Strip down and do a full powder coat, it will be the best £150 you spend, will look like a new game. I do this do every game now, just waiting on the parts back for Game of Thrones which I have have had done in metallic Root Beer.

It's only a very slight chip, nearly all the doors perfect, id prefer to put that cost towards brass platting the ramps, I think il try hammerite or the other suggestions unless any one else has any tried a tested methods

I just think for such a small amount in the world of pinball it really does make a game shine.

Looks great. Colour works great.

I have a LOTR and personally really dislike the gold legs and side rails, a little gold, buttons, bolts custom plate works for me.

For me it would have to be black, and outside the chip the legs and side rails are in good condition, powder coating black is nice, I did it on the gun on my STTNG and turned out great, however there's other things on the machine that I would prefer to do. Might change my mind in the future
