CGC Cactus Canyon Remake

I heard it wont be running the Cactus continued code from a post on Pinside. Can someone confirm this?

really did think c c r was just around the corner but since they are now talking about coders me thinks it could be quite some time :(

Lyman has been working with them for some time apparently and I’m sure a beta release would be an easy fix to get the pin out earlier. Let’s face it that’s what stern do on all their pins.
One thing for sure no matter what version it releases with Lyman will be updating and improving for many years to come.

Is there truth that there is no classic edition ?? Only premium and le ?
I’ve not heard that. It would surprise me if there wasn’t. So far CGC have been pretty good about their ‘models’ of each machine. My belief is that whatever you order you will get the same basic experience (unlike Stern). The variants have upgraded screens, Armour, RGB led and toppers. CGC seem happy to sell you most of the bits to upgrade your basic machine (apart from toppers). I reckon that is pretty sensible!

The original code will also be complete based on what Bally Williams intended to do originally - CGC gathered feedback from the folks who worked on it at the time back in the day.

I have heard it will run dual code; the original code line plus an option to run an extended version. This won’t be CC continued, but another, deeper version of the game.

yup - see here from back in August when I posted about it:

The game is ready and short of supply chain issues will be announced at the end of the month at Chicago Pinball Expo.

Watched this last night, great vid and insight cheers. Looking forward to 'any' update on UK shipping....

Thanks mate, nothing as yet. However the fact that production has started and they're getting the SE's rolled out must be a good thing.

Addictive game actually and I miss it already.

An extended review and walkthrough of the game to Wizard mode (more of a crawl an stumble through actually)

I just watched this Gonz, and I am very impressed with the tutorial and High Noon at the Ok Corral Wizard Mode completion , with like 1 second to spare !!! well done mate , great stuff 👍🙏👊👏

Oh aye, according to comments on Pinside, US distributors have supplied to those waiting in US (if comments are to be believed) so hopefully within 2022 to UK.

Just had a go at the one in Tilt. I managed a HS but think they might have been recently reset...

I think it's a cracking game. It has great flow, going shot to shot constantly. It's also super obvious what you need to do at any moment. The layout is very different, but it gives me a very similar feeling to playing AFM, but with more interesting modes, and less punishing. Humour is there too. Only thing is I wish the lights were less epileptic when Gunfight is lit.

Definitely seek this one out for a play!

Actually you're right about the gunfight lights..... they're very bright

Only thing wrong with this game is mine aint here yet. I even have its coin mech and spot ready!
... and not even a sniff of when likely to appear. Those that were waiting in the US appear to have been sorted.

Think it's 8 months in on the wait now for us in the UK.

TBH this is no different from Pre Lockdown we had 2 MBr LEs on order and it was almost a year before they arrived its the CGC way. The bonus of all this is the CGC quality is 2nd to none so its not just a bad thing.
I think CGC have a lot of irons in the fire and pinball is only one part of there model but imagine if they doubled production with another line it would be non stop MM, AFM & MB for all. When you look at there pricing they are one of the few companys along with Spooky and APB that still give us value for money.
