CFTBL - help with “Slide” kick-out

My CFTBL thankfully rarely needs much maintenance and is in really good shape.

Just noticed a problem today where the Slide kicker seems to think the ball is in it when it’s not.

The ball gets popped out properly, but subsequently the Mega Menu, Playground etc get triggered without the ball going up that right hand lock again.

Just wanting to know if there’s a common first thing to check. My gut tells me to take a cotton bud and clean an opto assembly in there?

Funnily enough I had a repair this week with the same issue.

Change the optos !

You can clean them first but they are old and worn out now - thats why I would just replace.
