You could spend nearly £3k on one like this:
see this one
Or you could convert it to a full MAME PC conversion / Hyperspin / Raspberry PI etc etc.....

These are a plastic construction approx 50kg, Height 160cm / W 60cm / D 90 cm - handle holes on the back so you can tilt and move it on the wheels.

  • Home sprayed white with grey control panel / twin zippy joysticks / 3 buttons per player
  • Running a 19" TFT monitor (spare monitor also provided (ready de cased))
  • Small Amp to Cabinet speakers
  • CGA / VGA Adaptor to LCD Display
  • VGA Scanline convertor for that retro look
All of the above neatly wired and secured through Jamma edge, cabinet runs off a single 3 pin plug and also has external CAT5 network connector for FTP uploads.

Cabinet / 2 player control panel fully wired to Jamma edge connector (standard wiring) and it used to run a 60 in 1 game card but is now wired up to a jamma fingerboard to use an original xbox (with pad hacks) running Coinops Premium Ninja Massive.

Collection from Southport

I Hi Folks,

I am putting this back up for sale (I bought it off Fenny - REALLY nice, helpful chap!  )

It has been fun, some great old games on there! but I am going to chase my Mario Kart dream, selling this to start to fund it!

I have added an original Xbox controller to it - you can play the likes of Doom, Tomb Raider, resident evil on there now without the fiddly joysticks! (you have to unplug the joystick controller from the Xbox, and plug the original controller in - takes 5 seconds.)
I have also added a Mad Cats Steering wheel and pedal set - I used this with Mario kart and it was great, youll obviously need a table or something to put the wheel on)

I paid £300 for the cab - I am asking £290 - Pick-up preferred, or martin can take it on his travels, he's due here any day soon!
The controller was £15, and the wheel/pedal set was £30. Add both of these to the price if you want them.

This will be on ebay and other platforms with idiot tax applied to cover the paypal, ebay fees etc.- So if you see it there, contact me here...

Should probably have started my own thread for this... And will do tonight, but if anyone wants it Martin is coming In the morning , 9am, so how's your chance!
