So we have machines scattered all across West Yorkshire and occasionally we forget what we have(!) We had this down as a TZ in a Chicago Pinball box but when moving stuff around yesterday it turns out its a brand new Cactus Canyon Special!

So, it's ready to go £8495 which is £1000 under list price.

Pinball is in Castleford or we can deliver to most of the UK for £100. Any questions please let me know!

My brother ‘sold’ me a bedroom wardrobe unit, German so not cheap just saying 😂 Anyway my son was with me so we started dismantling it and found a bag with about £100k of cash stashed in it, we told my son who was very young as it was years ago it was Monopoly money my bro had forgotten about!
He had forgotten it was there, easily done when you have too much WTF🤪

Yeah I was gutted I didn’t find it when I got home with the unit😂

Easily done right😃

A customer of mine.... his mrs squirrelled 60k in cash away in the loft (it might have been more, it was a while ago!), then she forgot, then it was no longer legal tender. Imagine going to Natwest and saying, I found this, can you swap for new notes please?

How many games had he brought before his wife hid all the money?

Ha, think that was before his pinball days, I think it was her plan to do a runner to be honest, I don't know. It was a mad some of money (it was 20 years ago) to have hidden away and forgot about!

BoE change it up just take in volumes under £5,000

Reading the BoE website, being under £5k isnt going to make any difference, they seem to want proof of ID, address and proof of how you have the money, Income, Estate, Gift etc. Looks pretty stringent.

I know from the other side of the counter. From what I can remember, theres another level of check they do at a certain value. Whether it’s that they follow up on it more vigorously or not I can’t remember.

But you used to get people who came in under the threshold rather suspiciously.

Whether it’s changed now, I don’t know.
