Just taken delivery of a Bally Millionairre Pretty good condition all round and playfield is mint. Have had a couple of issues with solenoid drivers and the normal GI connectors burning Just replace the IDC's and header pins and all seems good and seems to play well. I have an annoying issue that I am not sure how to deal with. The Mains transformer is buzzing. I have checked both the Primary / Secondary connectons and voltages are spot on The voltage selector is at the correct input voltage and I have checked the laminations as much as possible but none seems loose or de-laminated. The bloody thing will not stop buzzing. I have even tried wacking it with a rubber mallet. It is more of a nusance than anything. Apart from changing it any ideas anyone?

Tightening all the mounting bolts helps a little bit but from what I understand it’s something you have to learn to live with or mount on thick rubber to dampen the sound. No way to actually eliminate it altogether.

Thank you. All nut very tight. What bothers me is that I have never had it on any other of my pins EM & SS
